Bare Boat Charters
Fishing, sightseeing or touring-- if this is your interest and you wish to go on your own schedule, rent a boat. Sitka Sound and the surrounding waters are a photographer's paradise and a fisherman's dream! To rent a boat, you must have some experience running small boats. This is a beautiful area, but it does have many water hazards. If you would prefer a chartered trip, we can book your trip with a local liscensed charter boat Captain.
Sitka has some of the best saltwater King Salmon fishing in Alaska and our Halibut fishing is also exceptional. All 5 species of Salmon and other bottom fish are abundant in the area. For the more adventerous fisherman try landing a King Salmon from one of our kayaks. We prefer those renting a boat to have some boating experience
